Karlsbad has a total of 14 springs, the best-known and strongest of which is located in the white colonnades and is known as the Vrídlo (spring). It has a temperature of 72°C and projects up to 14 metres into the air. Judging by the extensive amounts consumed by spa-goers until the last century, the consumption of thermal waters is rather moderate today. The laxative and cleansing effect of the pleasantly salty water is often used to support holistic diets and its effects are beneficial in amounts of as little as three cups per day.

The wellness area includes 14 well-equipped treatment rooms plus massage beds, thermal baths a sauna and steam bath with light and aroma stimulation. The large pool and the heated and individually formed whirlpool for relaxation are located directly under the domed roof of the hotel.
